I have a very unfortunate taste for luxury when it comes to makeup, but I don’t use alot, so what I use needs to be amazing. I’m doing a GRWM using my staples, because you asked to see what I do – which is always suprising to me as there really is not a whole lot going on, no artistry whatsoever. Makeup to me is all about that beautiful complexion – not necessarily flawless, but healthy and glowing.
I am thrilled to be partnered with La Prairie for this video.

I love the La Prairie-it has been a go to for me for a little over a year…then I recently tried the new Cle de Peau in the pot-I really think you may love it. Such a skin like finish and incredible lasting power. A little lighter and more natural looking than this foundation in my opinion, though I didn’t have any complaints when I was only using the La Prairie…

Hey Jessi! Yes, I also have CdP’s the foundation! It’s also texturally goooooorgeous. However, while I don’t go for coverage, I feel like La Prairie’s foundation gives a more even but natural finish. It really gets rid of the red areas and darker areas whereas CdP required a second layer over certain areas to even them out. I mean, not like I’m going to complain about these ridiculously gorgeous foundations but that was the difference I saw! Otherwise, they are both in a league beyond anything else.
I love that blush, it’s such a naturally flushed color! I also tend to lean towards more high end makeup. Right now I’m really enjoying the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and Tom Ford Traceless Foundation. However, I have been wanting something a little lighter so I might have to try the La Prairie foundation. I also have a question for you, have you tried Le Weekend de Chanel? I’m considering buying it and I wanted to get your input.
Thank you for such a wonderful LUXE video. Am totally keen to get color matched! And it’s good timing as i am totally out of the Dior Nude Air i’ve been using. PS i too am a big fan of the Tom Ford eyeliner – it’s expensive but it’s by far the best and it literally lasts forever (or until i lose it somewhere.0
This video had my skin drooling! I can’t wait to make some cash so I can try some of these someday :)!! Thanks so much for the thoughtful review Renee!!
